Personal Home-care designed with you in mind
ThornleyLeazes Care is based in Allendale Northumberland. We have run a successful residential care home for many years and added home-care to our work in 2013.
We consider our rural location to be as individual as the people we care for, and hope to offer a very personalised service to all in our area.
Our staff members are trained to a high standard and all have individual skills and talents when it comes to care.
ThornleyLeazes Care encourages Multi Agency working realising the benefits of different organisations working together.
ThornleyLeazes carers will liaise with all professionals in order to get the best results for our service users.
All of our care workers are employed by ThornleyLeazes Care and will be carefully placed with our service users through thorough initial meetings.
Bathing, Toileting, Dressing, administrative help and advice
We strive to ensure that dignity is our priority when it comes to personal care.
All of our carers have been trained to a high standard to help reassure our service users when personal care is required.
Service users will be expected with the help of their families or other carers to take full control of the care given to them.
Cleaning, Laundry, Cooking, Shopping, basic chores.
As well as helping with personal care our carers will go that extra step and help our service users with domestic help in the service users home.
Together we can plan meals, help with shopping, and get those all important basic chores completed.
Social support, Companionship, respite outings, visit to the doctor, appointment keeping, social support for immediate family.
Being part of a community involves being able to attend social events, we at ThornleyLeazes Care are able to provide time to take our service users to groups or one off events without the worry of transport, for some this support will alleviate any worry and reduce isolation.
We are also able to provide some respite care within our residential home, this can be discussed with service users and their families/carers as and when the needs arise.
